What others are saying:

This product is so cool…literally.  I could have used it big time when I injured my knee a while back and was regularly applying ice packs that got messy and would lose their cool.  - See more at: http://motherhoodlater.com/posts/innovative-discoveries-products-for-moms-kids-by-robin-gorman-newman/#sthash.EwCm3IJJ.dpuf

Migraines & Hot Flashes

Motherhood Moment
by Bekah J

"I have migraines. Not often, but often enough to know how debilitating they can be. Because of the infrequency and a heart condition I have, I don't take medication for my migraines, but instead suffer along as best I can with dark, quiet rooms and ice."

"The device is the perfect temperature - cold enough to provide relief but not so cold that there's danger of frostbite, like there can be with ice on bare skin."

In her book The Migraine Brain, author and clinical director of the Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians Comprehensive Headache Center, Carolyn Bernstein, M.D., said, "The cold decreases inflammation, which lessens the pain."   AMBI™ is ready to use the minute the heat or migraine symptoms strike.

"I think this would be so handy to bring with on vacation. While traveling, I can get stressed and this seems to trigger a migraine, I don’t know if it is just the hassle of travel, or my nerves, I always get terrible headaches."

“the same technology used by NASA to chill the shell of the space shuttle and in some portable refrigerators and camping coolers chills the cool plate to a comfortable, yet effective temperature.”

Use AMBI™ to get comfortable, cooling relief from insect bites and stings, muscle strains and sprains, bumps to the head and sports injuries, hot flashes and migraines and overheating from exertion.

Run Shop Eat Repeat

This sleek, nifty little gadget sure beats ice packs, which I find to be messy and a pain in the butt! I've been really good about using it on my hamstring and since I can pinpoint the exact spot that's giving me trouble, I'm finding "icing" to be really effective.

A big thank you to Ambi for sending me one to try out, I highly recommend it.

I can’t believe how fast it reached the cooling temperature. The small size and travel pouch is nice–making it easy to slip into your gym or travel bag. I think the possibilities are endless for the Ambi Cooling Device.

In addition to the muscle strain/sprain relief, you can use the cooling to calm bug bites, soothe bumps to the head (Hi, I have a toddler!), cool down a hot flash, or help with migraines.

Positioning it on the injury site is one way to use it, but placing it on body thermoreceptor points (back of neck, forehead, wrist) is another way to bring your body temperature back in check.
